Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing exceptional diagnostic care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, clearly explaining each stage with empathy and care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that arise
• Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices to enhance service delivery

Education Requirements

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline, either Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• A completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
