Quick Facts:

• Location: Rockville, MD

• Duration: 6-month contract
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm + call coverage
• Hours/week: 40+ hours + on-call responsibilities
• Employment Type: Full-time, locum
• Licensing & Certification: Maryland medical license, DEA, CSR required
• Experience: Board-certified in Radiology with Interventional subspecialty preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay rate: $507/hour (plus OT at 1.5x after 40 hours, holiday pay at 1.5x)
• Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

What You'll Do:

• Perform routine interventional procedures including joint aspirations, vascular ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, CTA imaging, lumbar punctures, vein mapping, and dialysis graft procedures
• Read and interpret vascular and CTA studies remotely (less than 10% of work)
• Provide weekday vascular service coverage with scheduled after-hours call (evenings and weekends)
• Participate in patient rounds and specialty consultations as requested
• Respond to urgent STAT procedures with a physician-to-physician response time within 15 minutes; physically perform exams within 60 minutes when required
• Cover hospital and outpatient center procedures, averaging 10-15 daily hospital procedures

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Board Certification in Radiology
  • Maryland medical license, DEA number, CSR credentials
  • Willing to obtain licensure in Maryland
• Preferred:
  • Experience in interventional radiology procedures and vascular imaging
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
