Software Engineering Manager II, Safe Data Deletion

Manage a team of 8 engineers working on building safe data deletion infrastructure. Work closely with them in their individual growth journeys, make and sustain the Safe Data Deletion.Own the safe deletion north star goal and our delivery roadmap. Work closely with other functions and program partners to ensure aligned progress across the board to hit our overall goals.Improve integration efficiency and onboarding cost to our services.Own the production posture, proactively identify areas where we can improve reliability, latency and efficiency of our services.Utilize AI and encourage responsible usage to improve team efficiency while ensuring accuracy.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development.3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.3 years of experience developing cloud environments, utilizing core cloud services and cloud APIs.2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role, managing software engineers.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.Experience designing large-scale data preservation, archival, or safe deletion lifecycles. In this role, you will partner across product areas to translate regulatory requirements into high-efficiency system designs, unblock partner migrations, and advance our long-term platform roadmap.
