Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.75 - $21.75 per hour. The base hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Job Functions Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily inspections, and keep keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies secure. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc. Assist customers, serve as a cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates (e.g., phones, sales, service). Skills & Qualifications Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18-point record system. Legally required state driver’s license and meeting company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
