Production Supervisor, NightsOcean Spray is hiring for a Production Supervisor, Nights! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Three maverick farmers started it all — and we've been making our own way ever since. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading production staff in meeting manufacturing objectives. You will communicate job expectations and resolve manufacturing issues to accomplish production plans. You will recruit, train, and develop production staff, providing opportunities for career growth and excellence. Additionally, you will develop work plans, adhere to FSQA initiatives, and perform administrative actions as required. The schedule is on a 2-2-3 from 4PM to 4AM with rotating weekends off.A Day in the Life...• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.• Maintains staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.• Completes production plan by assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results on shift production summaries.• Maintains safe and clean work environment by directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.• Develops plans and organizes work in a manner that supports exceeding daily standard production rates while maintaining compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.• Leads/supports assigned teams in continuous improvement projects.
