Reports to: Director of Portfolio Management Mission Statement Manage the company's credit processes and resources that support initial and ongoing credit underwriting, training, and best practices. Identify, report on, and mitigate the company's overall portfolio credit risk. Understand and communicate macro industry trends. Portfolio Credit Evaluate, manage, and communicate the credit risk of the portfolio Contribute to and maintain credit analysis standards for Credit Committee (CC) & Investment Committee (IC) memos Ensure effective and consistent management and execution of quarterly credit reviews (QCR) and enhanced credit reviews (ECR) Manage ongoing credit risk assessment including monitoring portfolio for compliance with lease covenants Serve as Credit Subject Matter Expert Facilitate communication and collaboration on credit matters between portfolio management, CC, IC, and other departments Transaction Support Support the underwriting process on a transactional basis including deal structuring, development and execution of the credit underwriting strategy, and consultation on credit specific legal documentation Ensure consistency and accuracy of credit underwriting analysis delivered to CC and IC Ad hoc support of pre‑LOI credit underwriting General Duties Participate in and serve as the administrator of CC Communicate pertinent information proactively to Portfolio Management Leadership Prepare quarterly and ad‑hoc analysis for lenders and investors Enhance company credit‑related processes, procedures, and capabilities including leveraging use of AI Administer and maximize company utilization of Crowe Portfolio Analyzer for Lenders and Salesforce for portfolio credit reporting and credit risk management Training/Recruitment support as directed by PM team Why You Are Going to Love This Job: Diverse Responsibilities: Quarterly administration, review and reporting plus ongoing training and transaction support. Qualifications/Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with 3–5 years of commercial credit or public accounting experience to support portfolio‑level credit risk management and transaction underwriting. The role focuses on evaluating, monitoring and reporting on tenant credit risk, preparing committee‑level credit analysis, overseeing quarterly and enhanced credit reviews, and supporting deal structuring and credit‑related documentation. Ideal candidates will have strong financial statement analysis skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to clearly communicate credit risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Experience with portfolio level analysis, covenant compliance, and credit reporting systems is preferred. Automotive dealership industry experience is a plus but not required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant business field Work experience: A minimum of three years of commercial credit or public accounting experience.
