Doctor of Medicine | Optometry - General/Other Location: Allentown, PA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Optometrist Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our team at a hospital-based practice setting within a federally qualified health center (FQHC) clinic. This new clinic opportunity requires the provider to work primarily on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the potential for additional hours at other locations. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience, be bilingual in Spanish, and preferably be able to drive to the clinic. The clinician will undergo one week of EMR training/shadowing to ensure smooth integration. Credentialing may take 60-90 days. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive eye exams and optometric services to patients. Assist in establishing patient volume and clinic operations. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care. Utilize EMR system effectively during shadowing and independent practice. Requirements: Board Certification Required. Minimum 2 years of professional experience. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Ability to drive preferred. Willingness to undergo EMR training/shadowing. Schedule: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (09:00 - 17:00).
