A force for humanity, IRC employees deliver lasting impact by restoring safety, dignity and hope to millions./ph3Scope Of Internship:/h3pThe intern will work closely with the Workforce and Integration Department, gaining hands-on experience in employment services and data entry and supporting employment specialists with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The internship will provide exposure to workforce management systems, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations, helping with data management, and ensuring smooth communication between teams. This role will foster growth in administrative skills, data organization, and understanding of employment processes./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliWork individually with clients to create, update, and review resumes, job searching, networking opportunities, and interview preparation./liliSupport the Workforce team with a variety of projects and administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and database quality assurance./liliReach out to potential employers to discuss job opportunities for clients./liliAssist in maintaining communication with employers about job openings./liliHelp prepare paperwork and documents needed for job applications, client profiles, and employer communication./li/ulh3Learning Objectives:/h3ulliLearn how to enter and manage client and job data accurately./liliGain skills in creating professional resumes and applying for jobs on behalf of clients./liliDevelop communication skills by reaching out to employers and maintaining relationships./liliLearn how to organize and maintain important documents and client records./liliGet hands-on experience with the recruitment process, from job applications to employer outreach./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management./liliBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./liliAbility to organize tasks and manage time effectively./liliComfortable working independently and as part of a team./li/ulh3Compensation:/h3pThis is an unpaid internship opportunity./ph3Working Environment:/h3ulliThis position is in-person at our El Cajon office./liliMust be able to complete work during business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
