Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech / Radiology / Cardiology professional is responsible for supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab setting. This role involves operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor imaging equipment during cath lab and cardiology procedures.
• Prepare patients and equipment to facilitate smooth and accurate procedures.
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in EPIC.
• Comply with licensure requirements, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina State License prior to start date.
• Possess at least 1 year of cath lab, radiology, or cardiology experience.
• Have current BLS and ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification (if RCIS, SCRQSA & SCBME are required).
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and hospital workflows.
• Be willing to work 5x8s day shifts, with holiday coverage as needed.
• Provide two supervisory references.
