Craft individualized treatment plans that tackle both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.

Implement personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.

Work together with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to create unified care protocols.

Provide education to patients and families to support their progress beyond clinical environments.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee the continuity of patient care throughout their healing journey.

Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Stay updated on advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet possessing ASHA certification.

Acquired state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days post-employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques across all age brackets, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to tailor therapy approaches to address culturally and linguistically diverse needs.

Demonstrable clinical intuition and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation requirements.
