The firm owns and operates a diverse portfolio of office, retail, mixed-use, and multifamily properties across the Bay Area.Position OverviewThe Asset Manager will oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate assets with a focus on maximizing performance, identifying operational efficiencies, and driving long-term value. This role will work closely with senior leadership, property management, leasing teams, and external partners. A strong background in commercial real estate is required, and prior experience working with institutional investors is a plus.This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the President & Owner.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day performance of a diversified portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-use properties.Develop and execute strategic business plans for each asset to optimize financial returns.Partner with property managers and leasing agents to monitor occupancy, rental rates, tenant relations, and capital improvements.Review, analyze, and report on operating and financial performance, including NOI, leasing activity, and variance analysis.Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and expense reduction across the portfolio.Prepare and present asset performance reports and recommendations to ownership.Support refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition efforts as needed.Ensure compliance with loan covenants, regulatory requirements, and investor reporting obligations.Monitor market trends to inform leasing, redevelopment, and investment strategies.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management (office, retail, mixed-use).Strong financial modeling, analytical, and Excel skills.Proven track record of improving portfolio performance.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Preferred (Nice to Have):Experience working with institutional investors and preparing investor-level reporting.Familiarity with Argus Enterprise.MBA or advanced degree in Finance/Real Estate.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: Open, commensurate with experience.Health Insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision for employees and family members.Retirement: 401(k) with 100% company match up to IRS maximum.Work Schedule: On-site, 5 days/week in Palo Alto headquarters.Additional Perks: Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with direct access to senior leadership and decision-making.
