Description The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care. This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below. Texas: Lubbock Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Work Status Available: Full time Shift Available: Day Shifts Hours: Shift length: 12 hours 7am - 7pm or 5:30am - 5:30pm; weekends and holidays as needed. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level, or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT). Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals, or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing, or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association Preferred Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED 6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting. 6 months Phlebotomy experience. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
