Entry Level Low Voltage Cable Technician - Johnson City, TN

Join Next Level Technician as an Entry Level Low Voltage Cable Technician in Johnson City, TN! Earn $17-$20/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
• Assist with general construction and job site labor duties
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as needed
• Perform basic site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Support skilled tradespeople with tools, materials, and setup
• Follow job site safety rules and company procedures at all times
• Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:

• 1+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must have basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
