Job Description

Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver

$21–$25/hour | Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

T.E.M. Group, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver who takes pride in doing things the right way and thinking ahead.

This is not a position for someone who only wants to be told where to go and what to do next. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, asks good questions, solves problems, stays organized, and helps keep our field crews moving.

Your day may include preparing materials for a job site, making local deliveries, picking up orders from suppliers, organizing tools and equipment, helping maintain inventory, or assisting with basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.

We can teach our systems and procedures. What matters most is that you are dependable, willing to learn, mechanically inclined, and able to use good judgment.

What You’ll Do

Make local deliveries and supplier pickups safely and on time.

Load, unload, secure, and protect materials, tools, and equipment.

Receive, organize, store, and stage materials.

Verify deliveries and identify shortages, damaged materials, or other issues.

Help maintain accurate warehouse inventory and material records.

Keep tools and equipment organized, complete, and job-ready.

Assist with basic maintenance of company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.

Operate, or learn to operate, a forklift and other warehouse equipment.

Keep the warehouse, yard, storage areas, and delivery vehicles clean, safe, and organized.

Use T.E.M.’s inventory-management software and other technology to complete assigned work.

Help with changing operational needs as they arise.

Knows when to make a decision independently and when to ask for help.

Takes ownership of mistakes and works to correct them.

Suggests better ways to organize, maintain, or handle things when appropriate.

Takes pride in helping the entire team succeed.

What You Need

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

High school diploma or GED.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities with a professional and helpful attitude.

Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work.

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Basic computer and smartphone skills.

Willingness to learn new systems, equipment, and procedures.

Ability to communicate professionally with field employees, office personnel, vendors, and customers.

Warehouse, delivery, construction, logistics, mechanical, fleet, or equipment experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Mechanical experience is especially valuable and may create opportunities for additional responsibility involving T.E.M.’s vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.

CDL is a plus, but not a requirement.

A DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate is preferred, but we can assist the right candidate with obtaining one after hire if required for the vehicles they operate.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

Safely lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 80 pounds.

Loading and unloading vehicles, trailers, tools, materials, and equipment.

Standing and walking for extended periods.

Bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and performing repetitive physical tasks.

Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Driving for up to three consecutive hours.

Pay & Schedule

$21–$25 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, driving history, mechanical ability, and equipment skills.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

30-minute lunch.

Full-time, hourly position.

Occasional overtime or work outside normal hours may be needed depending on project demands.
