Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master
Our client, an established insurance company, is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master to join their team, hit the ground running, and help drive to success. This is a contact to hire position, with defined plans for conversion to permanent. The employee will work in the office 2-3 days per week with a very flexible schedule.
Snapshot of the client:
- Their technology solutions ensure that they can carry out their mission of providing specialty insurance products.
- They are kicking off several innovation projects, software and data focused. They are embracing the cloud (Azure) and automation.
- Great work/life balance even in the midst of ongoing, critical projects.
What will you do?
- Serve as a Project Manager/Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile environment.
- Follow best practices for ensuring teams are meeting project deadlines and project requirements
Required Skills/Certifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, CSM certification required
- MUST have prior experience in the insurance industry.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
- Proven experience holding project teams (of developers, analysts, test, etc) accountable.
- Successful track record of managing large-scale, enterprise software and/or data projects
- Strong presentation skills with prior experience presenting to executives and senior level stakeholders
