Adjunct Faculty - Continuing Education AY25-26

Overview Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary range for adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,000.00 per course. Governors State University’s School of Extended Learning is seeking dynamic and engaging adjuncts to instruct professional development workshops, continuing education courses, and/or customized training sessions. Our goal is to ensure participants walk away with valuable information they can apply in the workplace. Additional Information Adjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate. Subject Areas Customer Service New Media Marketing Human Resource Management Business Communications Nonprofit Management Accounting Organizational Management Healthcare Administration Business Law OSHA Leadership Government Administration Digital Marketing/Management School Administration Leadership Grant Writing Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience instructing in the subject area. Experience designing, developing, and implementing training materials. Ability to deliver training material using a variety of learning techniques. Strong command of presentation software and technology. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree preferred.
