Cybersecurity Mission Analyst When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough. We need a plan that supports our defense industrial base and strategic policy development. As a cyber strategic planning and policy specialist you will lead the assessment of client cyber policies, evaluate coverage and risks, compare policies to regulations and best practices, and develop a strategic cyber roadmap to ensure secure operations in an evolving IT environment. Responsibilities Lead assessment of current cyber policies and coverage of risks. Evaluate policies against regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Advise clients on acceptable risk and availability, supporting decision‑making. Develop and advance a strategic cyber roadmap. Guide clients in navigating evolving IT environments securely. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, supply chain, or risk management. Experience drafting executive or senior‑level correspondence and policy material. Knowledge of DoD and interagency cybersecurity policy and governance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity field. Certifications: CISSP or CISM. Preferred Qualifications Supporting DoD‑level organizations and action officer duties. Facilitating meetings, working groups, and conferences. Knowledge of NIST 800 series, Joint instructions and manuals. Understanding of DoD policy on non‑traditional IT and supply chain risk. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Security Clearance Top Secret clearance required; applicants will undergo a security investigation. Compensation & Benefits Annualized salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00.
