Competitive Intelligence AnalystFranklin, TN On-siteThe Competitive Intelligence Analyst supports the delivery of standardized reporting, analytics, and insights that enable consistent decision-making across the organization. This role exists to translate data into repeatable insights, maintain core reporting processes, and contribute to the development of thought leadership and best practices.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree required MBA or advanced degree preferred2+ years of experience in analytics, insights, category management, or related fieldStrong analytical and data management skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsExperience with Excel and exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Ability to structure analysis and communicate findings clearlyStrong business acumenStrong attention to detail and process orientationAbility to manage recurring tasks and multiple deadlinesPreferred qualifications:Experience working in CPG, pet care, and a matrixed global organizationWhat would be your key responsibilities?Maintain and continuously improve periodic reporting and dashboards, incorporating automation and new tools (e.g., AI) to drive efficiencyProduce standardized Flywheel and portfolio performance reports with clear written analysis and implicationsSupport key signature processes (e.g., Flywheel, IVCP, white space evaluation) through data preparation, analysis, and reportingExecute ad hoc analyses to identify performance drivers, opportunities, and risks across brands and categoriesBuild and maintain competitive intelligence tracking to inform benchmarking and best practicesContribute to the development of thought leadership materials with a focus on future category trends and growth opportunitiesSupport webinar development and content creation for sharing insights across the organizationEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation of methodologies and assumptionsCollaborate with remainder of I&GS to refine outputs and identify next steps for deeper analysisIdentify process improvements and opportunities to enhance reporting automation and scalabilityWhat can you expect from Mars?Opportunity to bring your pet to work.Commitment to create a safe, healthy, and sustainable world for our partners and the communities in which we operate.Commitment to make A Better World For Pets™ a world where they're healthy, happy and welcomeCommitment to our consumers and focus on positively impacting the planet and the population.This role is based in Franklin, TN with regular in-office collaboration expected.
