Position Summary Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Specialist (IT Product Specialist - CLOUD) $106,763.00 - $162,565.00 Location: Washington, DC – This position requires a mandatory three‑day in‑office work schedule, with on‑site presence required on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Acquire to Retire (A2R) and/or Purchase to Pay (P2P) The OCFO, whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia, is seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Specialist. The role is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The Information Technology Specialist works closely with the OCFO and other District government stakeholders in designing, documenting, developing, modifying, testing, installing, implementing, and supporting new or existing application software. Primary Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into application specifications. Configure, test, and implement modifications to Oracle ERP or EPM Cloud modules such as Accounts Receivable, Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing, Projects, Grants, Cash Management, and budget modules. Troubleshoot and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues with product functionality. Work with security staff to document and implement processes and procedures that ensure compliance with District, OCIO, and IRS security controls. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Five (5) years of progressive experience conducting duties such as gathering and analyzing business requirements and providing technical solutions; conducting configurations, testing, and troubleshooting financial systems or Oracle Financials modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Projects, Grants, Budget, etc.) and knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and public sector, particularly state and local government, experience preferred.
