Hiring a full-time Security Officer for an adult education facility in Abbeville. This role includes access control at the entrance and regular patrols throughout the property.

Pay: $13.00/hr (weekly pay)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00am-5:00pm
Hours: 40 hrs/week (includes 2-hour lunch break)

Job Duties

Monitor entrance and control access
Check IDs and verify authorized entry
Conduct regular indoor and outdoor walking patrols
Monitor cameras and report suspicious activity
Assist with on-site incidents as needed
Complete detailed incident reports
Communicate with dispatch using a radio
Provide professional assistance to staff and authorized visitors
Complete reports using a smartphone or tablet

Requirements:

Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Pass background check & drug screen
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 18 years old (as per applicable laws)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Dependable and punctual
Able to walk and stand for extended periods
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for reporting (no paper documentation)
