This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.What You'll Do:Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing processes.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Participate on product and new process development teams, making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.Identify equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.Implement and coordinate revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed.Perform high quality analysis consistently.Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.Perform other duties as needed.What You Have:Bachelor's degree in a related field.4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.What Else?Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor.Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.Disclaimer: The information on this description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
