Physical Therapist – Travel – Stone Mountain, GA Job ID: 1418858 Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) Shift: 8‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT you will be responsible for: Evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Overseeing supervising PTAs and support staff. Billing within the setting, following facility guidelines. Understanding the PT board's rules and regulations and complying with state requirements. Interfacing with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Evaluating and acquiring adaptive equipment. Evaluating and creating a plan of care. Modifying plan of care as indicated based on patient condition. Using medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Providing timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged. 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be accepted. BLS certification. State‑specific licensing; compliance with PT board rules. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional Notes Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend.
