Advanced Practice Provider (APP, APRN, PA)

Our experienced medical team is dedicated to helping patients recover safely, restore function, and return to their daily activities as quickly as possible. Position Overview This is a full‑time role that will primarily support our Louisville‑Downtown clinic. It will occasionally travel to our Louisville‑South clinic (on Dixie Hwy), once a month to our Lexington clinic, and twice a month to our Elizabethtown clinic. Mileage reimbursement is available and this role is bonus eligible. Record physical findings and formulate plan and prognosis based on the patient’s condition and the doctor’s plan of treatment. Conduct evaluations and re‑evaluations of established patients. Refer patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment when needed. Discuss the case with physicians and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan. Perform pain management injections for specific diagnoses according to practice protocols. Prescribe or order diagnostics, therapeutics, medication, pain management procedures, and DME as medically indicated. Demonstrate eagerness and ability to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects. Support the vision and culture of the organization; demonstrate personal commitment through active involvement in the performance improvement process. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Skills Experience in automobile personal injury or workers’ compensation. High proficiency with computers, especially EMR software, Meaningful Use, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to manage high levels of stress and make sound, difficult decisions. Qualifications, Education, and Experience (APRN) Must have a valid, unrestricted professional license in the state of Kentucky and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine. DEA registration is preferred (PA candidates are not required to have DEA). Physical Requirements The physical demands of this position include sitting and standing with occasional light to medium lifting, helping lift patients, and transporting them in a wheelchair from clinic to parking lot.
