Details Labor and Delivery unit with 9 beds Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratios Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Float requirement to Postpartum unit Uses Centricity and Meditech EHR systems Requirements Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, and EFM Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Skilled in fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, and postpartum care Strong time management and communication skills required Additional Information Provide care for patients with conditions including normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage Weekly orientation held on Mondays Navy scrub color required; no slogans, graphics, offensive content, or inappropriate footwear permitted Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-734019.
