Mobile Equipment Mechanic

Job ID: 528762 Job Summary As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of mobile equipment which includes forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, front-end loaders, skid steers, and tractor trailers. The successful candidate must be able to work safely indoors and occasionally outdoors. Job Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that mobile equipment continues to run smoothly Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair of mobile equipment Maintenance of special purpose machines Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Determine how to correct issues utilizing schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned Inspect motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, utilizing PM checklists Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools and power tools Basic knowledge and troubleshooting related to electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical systems Additional tasks may be assigned as needed Job Requirements Physical requirements include lifting to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, working indoors and outdoors Able to perform job tasks in varying weather conditions Ability to work independently Ability to function occasionally in a team environment, with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals Ability to operate mobile equipment as necessary High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience OSHA-10 certification a plus but certification can be provided At least two years of mobile equipment maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment Compensation The hourly pay is $28-$30 based on experience 401(k) plan / group retirement savings program Short-term and long-term disability benefits Life insurance Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
