Quality Control Inspector
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay: $19 - $23/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Mon Thu: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Fri: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect manufactured parts, with emphasis on final inspection
- Identify defects and tolerance deviations using work orders and drawings
- Perform internal calibration and maintain quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of QC or related experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, PMI)
Physical Requirements
- Lift small parts regularly (under 10 lbs.; occasional heavier lifting)
- Frequent standing, bending, and movement
- Use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
Additional Expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify defects
- Work collaboratively with QC Supervisor as needed
