About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years, must be recent (within the past 6 months) License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a telemetry or neuro specialty - Ability to interpret EKGs - Charge Nurse experience considered a plus - Flexibility to float to sister facilities Description: The role requires a registered nurse specialized in neuro telemetry. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar setting. This position will necessitate the ability to interpret EKGs effectively. A maximum patient ratio of 1:3-4 is to be maintained. There will be a requirement to work every other weekend. Charge nurse duties will be assigned without patient responsibilities. The unit size consists of 26 beds. Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory. Candidates may be asked to float to other facilities as needed. Exam requirements for dysrhythmia must be fulfilled prior to acceptance. Additionally, a simulation lab may be required on the first day of orientation. Common patient diagnoses include neurological conditions and pulmonary issues. Key support services, such as respiratory therapy and pharmacy, are available 24/7.
