Training Schedule: During the initial training period, the technologist will work Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM to receive hands-on training on all equipment and testing procedures. Upon successful completion of training, the schedule will transition to the regular assignment of Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. After training: (1st Shift) = 08:00-18:30, Friday-Monday and occasional scheduled holidays.

We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include: Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes) Sterilization process (sterrad and steam) HLD/ Scope experience Sterile Storage OR Liaison experience Censitrac Tracking system experience Move case carts, separate dirties, fills case cart needs for cases for the next day Takes OR calls for both floors of surgery

Will accept either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM). Required certifications include CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, IAHCSMM or CBSPD.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: An Instrumentation Coordinator works to prepare, sterilize, install, assemble, and or clean all clinic or healthcare equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures. The Instrumentation Coordinator ensures equipment, instruments, and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infections. This position is for ensuring sterilized, appropriately functioning medical supplies and instrumentation are packaged and delivered to the point use aseptically. Additionally, this position needs to serve as a clinical liaison between the Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise. This position will also be responsible for procuring, and standardizing instrument trays across the Enterprise. This position will be utilized 24/7 in multiple reprocessing sites across the Health System, to include Ross Heart Hospital, University Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, Same Day Surgery, University Hospital, East and all Ambulatory sites (Dublin, New Albany, EEI, Jameson Crane, West Campus). Special Equipment: Equipment REQUIRED: Drills, scopes, DaVinci, Censitrac REQUIRED: Medivator experience

Travel Compliance: There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions. Please screen for any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking as this will likely cause a push due to fingerprinting delays. Please only submit to one location. The AM team will find the best fit for the clinician. PLEASE NOTE: ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE URGENCY OF THE OHIO FINGERPRINTING PROCESS. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL. All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Locals are accepted at the same rate Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
