Job Description

Duties

• You will provide management support to both the DDG 51 Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Industrial Operations PAPM in the execution of program management duties for the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.
• You will review monthly EVM CDRL reports from the shipbuilder and coordinates responses on behalf of the Program Office.
• You will work with contractor support to collect shipbuilder cost and performance data, perform analysis, and develop a coherent, consistent narrative based on the data.
• You will perform analysis on the shipbuilders' Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• You will develop metrics to support a monthly government Earned Value Management review with the PMS 400D Program Manager.
• You will provide support for DDG 51 Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), including preparing data calls and Letters, reviewing data, and interviewing Control Account Managers.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 grade level equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, planning, executing, presenting Earned Value Management (EVM) data, cost estimates and industrial base assessments and analysis based on shipbuilder provided data for Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP).
