Relationship ManagerThe Relationship Manager upholds all YMCA safety and member service standards while focusing on positive relationships with all YMCA members, staff, volunteers and guests. The Relationship Manager is an ambassador for the YMCA and should ensure delivery of high standards of cleanliness and customer service while creating a welcoming environment for all.What Your Day May Look LikeWelcome members, guests, and participants while delivering exceptional service in person and over the phoneBuild authentic relationships that create a sense of belonging and connection within the YMCA communityIntroduce new members to programs, group exercise classes, child care and additional opportunities that match their goalsAnswer questions and provide guidance on YMCA facilities, services, and equipmentUse technology tools to engage members in programs, services, and activitiesResolve membership concerns professionally and escalate issues when neededMaintain clean, safe, accessible, and welcoming service areas throughout the facilityCommunicate effectively with members, coworkers, and leadership to support smooth daily operationsAttend meetings, trainings, and development opportunities to stay informed and grow professionallyFollow YMCA policies, respond to emergencies, and report safety concerns promptlyIf you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love creating positive first impressions and lasting connections — this role is for you.Schedule & Compensation: 1 PositionPosition 1: Tri-Branch: Puri Family YMCA, Northeast Family YMCA, Good Shepherd YMCA Part-Time, Non-Exempt Must have evenings and weekend availability Will work approximately 12 - 16 hours per week, but no more than 25 hours per week *Schedule will vary and is based on branch needs $15.00 per hourQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience in customer service, sales, or related field strongly preferredExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skillsComfortable using Google Workspace tools and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad) to communicate with team members, manage schedules, and complete basic administrative tasks to support daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environmentCPR, AED and First Aid Certifications required within 90 daysCurrent Praesidium Academy trainingsThere's so much more to working at the Y!
