Available days/hours: Monday 7:30 am–5 pm; Tuesday 7:30 am–5 pm; Wednesday 7:30 am–5 pm; Thursday 7:30 am–5 pm; Friday 7:30 am–1 pm. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Iowa and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Experienced hygienists and new graduates. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health. Clinical experience as required by office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year. Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions. Standard requirement for dental office roles.
