About This Opportunity
Join our team as an Inside Sales & Customer Success Representative, where you'll be the trusted partner for our established customer base. This role combines relationship management, sales growth, and operational coordination in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll work directly with clients to identify needs, expand accounts through strategic upselling, and ensure seamless order fulfillmentall while maintaining the exceptional service that drives customer loyalty.
What You'll Do
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through proactive communication and consultative engagement
- Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to expand customer accounts and increase profitability
- Order Coordination: Manage the complete order lifecycle from entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and special requests
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and warehouse teams to optimize fulfillment and inventory coordination
- Business Development: Support outside sales initiatives in growing key accounts and expanding market presence
- Record Management: Maintain organized, accurate customer data within CRM and order management systems
- Client Engagement: Coordinate product demonstrations and customer meetings to support account growth
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- 35+ years in inside sales, customer service, or account management within the food industry (food distribution, foodservice, hospitality, catering, or related food sector)
- Proven success growing revenue through upselling and account expansion
- Strong account management capabilities with consistent client relationship experience
- Proficiency with CRM and order management software systems
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a high-energy environment
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in food distribution or foodservice sales environments
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Track record of consultative, solution-based selling
