Part Time Hospital Phlebotomist Mobile Infirmary

LabCorp – Phlebotomist Mobile Infirmary Hospital, Mobile, AL Work Schedule – Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm with rotating weekends. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if not working experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
