Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually plus commission and bonus opportunity

Position Summary

  • The Account Executive, Footwear is responsible for driving sales growth across Majesty Brands' footwear business with a focus on wholesale, off-price, club, and national retail accounts. This role will manage existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities across key channels.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience selling footwear or adjacent consumer products and possess a strong understanding of wholesale account management, retailer expectations, merchandising strategies, inventory planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will work closely with Product Development, Production, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure successful execution from product concept through delivery.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing footwear accounts across wholesale, off-price, club, and national retail channels
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach to expand Majesty Brands' customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, merchants, and key decision-makers across assigned accounts
  • Drive sales initiatives across retailers including off-price, wholesale, club, and specialty channels
  • Develop seasonal selling strategies and identify opportunities for incremental growth within existing accounts
  • Prepare and present line reviews, assortment recommendations, and product presentations to customers
  • Partner closely with Product Development, Design, Production, Sourcing, and Operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Manage forecasts, inventory opportunities, purchase orders, replenishment needs, and shipment timelines
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
  • Coordinate item setup, pricing, retailer requirements, and order execution as needed
  • Maintain sample inventory, line sheets, and customer presentation materials
  • Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines
  • Support strategic initiatives that expand Majesty Brands' footwear business across existing and new channels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or merchandising within footwear, apparel, accessories, or consumer products
  • Wholesale sales experience is required
  • Experience managing off-price, wholesale, club, or national retail accounts is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail selling cycles, forecasting, inventory management, and customer relationship management
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, Sourcing, and Operations teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business systems
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into off-price retailers and wholesale channels
  • Experience working with club retailers and national accounts
  • Understanding of footwear merchandising, product development, and go-to-market strategies
  • Experience identifying and opening new customer relationships
  • Experience supporting multiple product categories including footwear, slippers, accessories, or related consumer products

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and market appointments as needed
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move product samples up to 25 pounds

Salary Disclosure

Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The salary range for this position is $80,000–$110,000 annually, plus eligibility for commission and bonus opportunities. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
