Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist position is available to provide coverage during a maternity leave from December 2026 through February 2027 in Pollok, TX. This contract role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your preferred shift or shorter daily hours within the store’s open hours.

Schedule Options:

• 1st Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (flexible end times as early as 4:00 p.m.)
• 2nd Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (flexible end times as early as 5:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities:

• Uphold core values while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with the pharmacy’s mission.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Perform final verification of prescriptions to guarantee accuracy and safety.
• Provide drug information, including interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage guidance to healthcare providers and patients.
• Maintain quality assurance protocols, security of controlled substances, and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
• Manage pharmacist-related phone inquiries and voicemail messages efficiently.
• Conduct patient counseling when required or requested.
• Resolve customer conflicts professionally both in-person and over the phone.

Note: This location does not offer vaccinations or medication therapy management (MTM).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience in a retail setting.
• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license.
