Wilmington Delaware client is looking to hire a Financial Analyst with proven experience utilizing business intelligence and data visualization tools. This role will consist of financial planning, performing ratio analysis, forecasting to support budgeting and planning processes, developing analytical methods, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis, staying up to date on industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments that may impact the organization’s financial performance. The ideal Financial Analyst for this role must have strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.

Major Responsibilities

·      Provide financial analysis, forecasting and reporting

·      Develop strategic initiatives

·      Budgeting & Forecasting

·      Maintain knowledge of regulations and policies

·      Establish possible operational cost savings

·      Prepare financial reports with key metrics

·      Coordinate the annual budgeting process

·      Establish financial trends and make recommendations

·      Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations

The ideal Financial Analyst MUST have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

Other requirements for the Financial Analyst role include and are not limited to:

·      5+ years of financial analysis and financial modeling experience

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, financial modeling, and data analysis

·      Power BI or Tableau a PLUS

·      Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
