Interaction with patients and families in Cancer Center and Thoracic Surgery requires good communication skills with patients, families and hospital staff, as well as the ability to remain focused in stressful situations. Job duties include screening eligible patients, recruiting participants, obtaining informed consent, collection of biological samples, and maintenance of clinical questionnaires, including extraction of data from medical records; data entry into databases.
