Territory Sales Representative

We are working alongside our client in the industrial storage and material handling sector to hire a Territory Sales Manager covering the New Mexico market. The Client Our client is a highly established and growing provider of industrial storage, space optimisation and material handling solutions for warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities and wider commercial environments. Its Industrial Products division offers a broad portfolio including pallet racking, industrial shelving, mezzanines, modular offices, material handling equipment, warehouse storage systems, safety products and wider facility optimisation solutions. The Role This is a new-business-focused sales role responsible for developing and winning new customers across the New Mexico territory. You will identify project opportunities, conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and manage the complete sales process from initial prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close. The successful candidate will build a strong pipeline of new accounts and develop long-term customer relationships across warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and wider industrial markets. Key Responsibilities Drive new business growth by identifying and approaching prospective customers throughout New Mexico. Develop and execute a structured territory plan to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand operational, storage and material handling requirements. Recommend tailored solutions across industrial storage, warehouse equipment and facility optimisation. Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation and close. Collaborate with internal design, estimating and project teams to deliver effective customer solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and reports on pipeline activity and territory performance. Requirements Proven experience in new business development, territory sales or industrial B2B sales. Strong hunter mentality with a successful track record of opening new accounts and achieving sales targets. Experience selling consultative, project-based, solution-led or capital equipment products. Relevant experience within material handling, pallet racking, industrial storage, shelving, warehouse equipment or facility solutions would be highly advantageous. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer sites and translate requirements into practical solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
