Orthopedic Travel Surgical Technician

The Orthopedic Travel Surgical Technician provides specialized support for orthopedic surgical cases across multiple sites. When not assisting with orthopedic cases, the technician will assist in other surgical cases. Primary responsibilities include providing intraoperative support for orthopedic surgical procedures. Manage orthopedic implants, grafts, and instrumentation. Maintain knowledge of orthopedic procedures, including total joint and sports medicine. Support other specialties such as General, Urology, Uro-GYN, GYN, ENT, Neuro, Podiatry, and Robotics when not assigned to orthopedic cases. Schedule flexibility based on surgical volume is required. Must participate in call rotation, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time when on call. Core competencies needed include strong critical thinking and adaptability. Ability to anticipate surgeon needs is essential. Commitment to patient safety and quality care is required. A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to support all service lines are expected. Compliance with all policies and participation in quality improvement initiatives is required. Flexibility to support departmental needs and staffing models is necessary.
