Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care in a surgical step-down unit under the guidance of experienced RNs and clinical educators Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgical procedures, escalating changes in condition as appropriate Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and support patient recovery Document patient care and education accurately and timely in the electronic health record system Participate in unit-based learning, simulations, and regular check-ins with preceptors as part of the residency program 36 hours/week – 12-hour variable shifts 24 hours/week – 12-hour variable shifts Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility upon hire) BLS certification from the American Heart Association Less than 12 months of RN experience Preferred Qualifications National certification in a related specialty area (or commitment to obtain one) Why Join Us?
