Incoming Quality Control InspectorTemp-to-Hire Quality Control Inspector - $25/hour - Weekly Pay - Apply now!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansReferral Bonus IncentiveWeekly PayAnd More!Incoming Quality Control Inspector Details:Contract to Hire position$ 25.00 / hourFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)The Incoming QC Inspector is responsible for the receiving inspection and testing verification of the quality of purchased components based on a set of acceptance criteria and specifications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs AQL inspection.Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors.Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.Maintain a standards cabinet containing approved standards of different types of components.Use a variety of tools to test incoming component quality to include analytical equipment such as FTIR to verify material identity (utilizing the compiled library).Incoming Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:Degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification achieved via work experience.Certification in quality control is preferred.A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Good math and technical skills.Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.Ability to train, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and laboratory equipment.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
