Raincoat Roofing, located in Broadview, IL, is a premier commercial roofing company specializing in roof maintenance, repair, replacement, and emergency services. As an NRCA, NRP and CRCA affiliated company, we pride ourselves on offering honest inspections, fair pricing, superior customer care, and quality craftsmanship for all types of commercial flat and steep roofs using various roofing solutions.

Position Description: We are seeking a full-time on-site Service Sales Associate.

NO Roofing or Construction experience necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, presenting, and selling repair and maintenance services to potential clients, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires direct collaboration with the Service Manager, Superintendent, and Division Head.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and manage new sales leads.
• Conduct 10 cold calls and tele-prospecting calls weekly.
• Attend 4 discovery meetings weekly.
• Complete 50 follow-ups through correspondence and tracking.
• Deliver 10 presentations weekly.
• Host 1 lunch weekly for clients or potential clients.
• Achieve sales targets
• Uncover and qualify bidding opportunities for projects and work orders.
• Establish, nurture, and grow customer relationships with owners, asset managers, property managers, facility managers, building engineers, and roof consultants.
• Personally deliver and present project proposals.
• Promote the company brand in the marketplace.
• Grow in technical knowledge, both industry-general and project-specific.

Work Schedule:

General hours are M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Days and hours are subject to change.

Able to visit and manage work orders or projects while on-site in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• NO Roofing or Construction experience necessary.
• Proficiency in sales, marketing, and customer service, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience in the roofing or construction industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn and understand roofing terminology and products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Knowledge business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous sales experience in a technical or construction field is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and basic smartphone proficiency.
• Strong writing and math skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales goals.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• Capability to see, hear, speak, climb, lift, bend, and twist.
• Comfortably move up to 50 lbs. of weight.
• Perform occasional climbing, balancing, heavy lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
• Not afraid of heights or tall buildings.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work in extreme heat or cold conditions and climb up and down ladders.

• Fully perform all duties as outlined in the job description and standard procedures.
• Manage daily business through effective communication, professionalism, respect, organization, and efficiency.

• Track performance based on total project and work order sales, number of created projects, and lead opportunities.
• Strength and depth of relationships with the top 15 service customers.
