You will assess, facilitate, and monitor the medical needs of youth, manage medication administration, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. * You will perform nursing assessments, including vital signs, height, weight, and health screenings upon admission and as needed. You will respond promptly to medical complaints, urgent care needs, and emergencies while following established nursing protocols. * You will initiate routine lab tests, ensure required medical assessments are completed, and educate and counsel youth regarding their health status, disease prevention, and treatment plans. You will schedule and track medical, dental, and specialty appointments in compliance with required timelines.AVAILABLE HOURS * 8a-5p Full- Time REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION * Current Texas state LPN/LVN license in good standing with completion of a state-approved practical nursing program or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Graduate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) with completion of an accredited nursing program * Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital, clinic, or a health care setting. * Valid Texas driver’s license in good standing and proof of insurance. * CPR and First Aid or BLS certification preferred.
