Family Support Specialists (FSS) offer home visits to expectant parents and caregivers of small children, providing parenting education, support, and advocacy. Family Support Specialists link parents to resources, promote optimal child health and development, and problem solve with parents. Family needs and abilities are evaluated on an ongoing basis. Family Support Specialists assist families in designing individualized support plans and empower families overtime to achieve their chosen goals.
