Senior Tax Accountant

A growing public accounting firm is looking to add a Tax Senior to its expanding tax practice. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, individuals, trusts, and estates. Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting engagements for a diverse client base. Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and providing ongoing guidance. Work closely with Partners and Senior Managers to deliver high-quality client service and identify tax planning opportunities. Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions for clients. Participate in larger client engagements, helping to identify issues, analyze tax implications, and recommend strategies. Continue developing technical expertise through ongoing professional education and training. Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service. What We're Looking For 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax. Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and estates. CPA license or actively pursuing certification with the intention of obtaining it in the near future. Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience supervising staff or leading engagements is preferred. Proficiency with leading tax, accounting, and research software.
