Director of Corporate Accounting

Atrium is currently working with a client in Alpharetta that is looking to hire a CPA who has been leading a corporate accounting function for a large organization. This position will report into the Corporate Controller and leverage their skills to lead technology, process, and workflow implementation/optimization within the organization. The responsibilities will ultimately be to build out a team that owns this function for the business on a go-forward basis.

• Lead the GL design and global process standardization within SAP
• Oversee all SAP modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting.
• Lead cross-functional steering committees including internal stakeholders and external implementation partners and service providers, validating solution design and resolving integration blockers.
• Global Accounting Operations & Controllership: Oversight of month-end close, accounting operations, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting (GAAP, IFRS, SOX)
• IPO Readiness & SOX Compliance: Design SOPs ensuring GAAP and SOX compliance
• Digital Transformation & Process Optimization related to SAP and other technologies including AI

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Active CPA is required
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Global business experience is a plus
• SAP experience us required
• Big 4 experience is a plus
