This is your chance to make a real difference while advancing your career in a supportive environment. **Job Description:** - Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. - Administer treatments and occupational agents to restore function and prevent disability. - Assist patients in reaching maximum performance and functioning levels while adapting to their capabilities. - Provide supervision to assistants/aides to ensure quality care. - Conduct thorough assessments of patients, formulating tailored plans of care for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - Observe and evaluate patient responses to treatment, discussing necessary adjustments with the physician. - Create and implement teaching plans based on patient and family needs, evaluating the effectiveness of learning. - Collaborate and communicate professionally with patients and families, involving them in care planning. - Coordinate and direct patient care to meet hospital policy and patient needs. - Demonstrate expertise in occupational therapy modalities and safely manage modality equipment. - Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department, adhering to documentation standards and policies. - Treat all patients and families with respect and dignity, addressing their psychosocial needs. - Demonstrate flexibility and organization, effectively functioning in stressful situations. - Foster strong working relationships within the department and with other departments to enhance patient care. - Participate in educational staff performance improvement in-services and assist with training for new staff. - Engage in continuing education programs to meet facility needs and state/national CEU requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
