General Accountability

Responsible for the accurate and timely check in of goods that are being received on a daily basis. Insure proper documentation is expedited, OSDs are reconciled and PO's are accurately signed off to insure accurate inventories.

Shift Available: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p

Duties & Responsibilities

• Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies
• Resolve OSD's with buyer planners, QC and Inventory Control as needed
• Compare the amount and identification numbers of goods against PO's and insure PO's are properly filled out and signed from all parties
• Maintain files for Receiving Records
• Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards
• Record data on Receiving Progress Control Boards per Lean Philosophy
• Responsible to help maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the operation.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements
• Perform data entries and reporting as needed
• Receive product with handheld on dock and match receipts to new product
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed
• Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Policies

Experience

• Previous experience with a Barcode Scanning System/handheld preferred
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Previous experience checking in truck drivers, BOL documentation and system entries

Expertise

• Must be a self-starter, motivated and focused to work independently within the established perimeters assigned.
• Must have solid communication skills
• Computer skills are a must, excel reporting, data entry
• Must be able to work with others and focus on team empowerment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must
• Learn Lean Philosophy within the organization to focus on and participate in Continuous Improvement & Learning to improve processes, efficiencies and increased profitability

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Base pay will be $20.00/hour plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
• Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications & work location
• This position is located onsite in Belvidere, IL
• Travel Requirements – no travel required
