Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an embedded software engineer for our Idaho Scientific group, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and deploying secure system solutions through novel CPU design, crypto cores, purpose-built system-on-a-chip architectures, and hardened operating systems. Our solutions are the foundation for how military systems will remain safe and secure in the conflicts of the future.

• Strong foundation in relevant coursework or projects: embedded C/C++, RTOS, digital logic, Verilog/SystemVerilog, FPGA development, or ASIC design flow.
• Evidence of hands-on problem solving: personal, academic, internship, lab, or open-source work that shows candidates can design, debug, test, and document technical solutions.
• Curiosity and collaboration: clear communication, willingness to learn quickly, and an ability to work thoughtfully with hardware and software engineers in a security-focused environment.

Workplace Options:

This position is ideally fully on-site while you learn, but some flex arrangements are available based on manager discretion While on-site, you will be a part of the Boise or Salt Lake City locations.
