Data Engineer - Clearance Required

Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesSet up segmented databases to control access to various datasets and data productsBuild data pipelines in PySpark using data engineering best practices for testing, validation, automation, and version controlCoordinate closely with SMEs and front-end developers to generate data tables required for UI executionBuild code to execute pulls from APIs, allowing access to external data to be pulled into the client environmentInteract with partners and data providers to understand their data holdings, methods for moving data into the CDAO-Advana platform, and data usage agreementsSelf-starter, and eager to learn and work in a team environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience3-10 years of experience as a data engineerExperience with:Agile-based developmentPython, Spark, notebooksData Bricks or similar environmentEffective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsActive DoD Secret clearance required (Top Secret desired)Located in theWashington, DC metro area (or commutable area for periodic on-site client support)Target salary range: $110,000 - $130,000Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
